Chipped, stained or uneven front teeth?
Dental Veneers in Jodhpur
Veneers change the colour, shape and apparent position of your front teeth at the same time. That is why one treatment can fix a chip, close a small gap and brighten a dark tooth. The goal is not a Hollywood smile. It is to stop worrying about your teeth in photographs.
The price depends on how many teeth are treated, and on whether you need porcelain veneers at all — composite bonding costs a fraction and often does the job.
Bonding, one visit. Porcelain veneers, two to three visits. How our pricing works
- You see it before anything is touchedWe try the planned shape on your own teeth first. Nobody should agree to front-tooth work based only on a spoken description.
- Bonding, if that is all you needOne chipped corner rarely needs a veneer. Composite bonding costs a fraction, takes one visit, and removes almost no tooth. We will tell you when that applies.
- Planned by a periodontistThe gumline frames every smile, and cosmetic work on unhealthy gums does not last. Dr Kavya checks your gums before any veneer is discussed.
- Ten to fifteen years of colourPorcelain does not stain the way natural enamel and composite do. Tea, coffee and tobacco no longer decide how your smile looks.
Message us a photo of your smile and tell us what bothers you about it. We will tell you what is realistic — including when whitening or bonding would get you there for far less.

What usually stops people asking
- “Will they look false?”
- Only if they are made too white and all exactly the same, and that is a choice, not something that has to happen. We match the shape and natural see-through quality to your face and the rest of your teeth. And you approve the mock-up before anything is prepared.
- “Does it ruin the natural tooth?”
- Porcelain veneers need a thin layer of enamel removed, and enamel does not grow back. So a tooth prepared for a veneer will always need one. That is exactly why we say no when whitening or bonding would do the job instead.
- “Is it worth it over just whitening?”
- Often not, and we would rather tell you that. Whitening changes colour only. Veneers are for chips, wear, gaps and shape — problems whitening cannot fix. Send a photo and we will tell you which one you need.
No obligation. Many people ask, get an answer, and decide later.

A veneer is a thin shell bonded to the front of a tooth. It changes the colour, shape, length and apparent position of the tooth all at once. That is why it is so widely used in cosmetic dentistry. In the same treatment, it can close a gap, make a slightly crooked tooth look straight and lighten a dark one.
Composite bonding is the cheaper option. The same tooth-coloured material used for fillings is shaped directly onto the tooth in a single visit. It does not last as long as porcelain and stains more over the years. But it costs a fraction as much, needs almost no tooth removed, and is easy to repair.
We think carefully about which one we recommend. Porcelain veneers need a layer of enamel to be removed, and that is permanent. For a single chipped corner, bonding is usually the better answer, and we will tell you so. For eight discoloured, worn front teeth, veneers are what will actually give you the result.
Veneers are not the only way to change the shape of a tooth, and they are not always the right one. A tooth with a large filling or a root canal is usually better restored with a crown, which covers it completely, than with a veneer bonded to a weak front surface. Dr Kavya will tell you which of the two your teeth actually need.

The veneers are tried in and checked for colour and shape with you, then bonded.
Veneers & bonding in Jodhpur — common questions
What are dental veneers? (Veneers kya hote hain?)
Dental veneers are thin shells of porcelain or composite resin bonded to the front of the teeth to change their colour, shape or size. They are used for chipped, stained, gapped or slightly uneven front teeth. Veneers are not false teeth or implants: your own tooth stays underneath, usually with a thin layer of enamel removed.
How much do veneers cost in Jodhpur?
The cost of veneers in Jodhpur depends mainly on the material and the number of teeth. Composite veneers cost less per tooth and are done in one visit; porcelain veneers cost more and last longer. Pain-Off Dental Care in Sardarpura shows you a mock-up and gives a written per-tooth cost before treatment.
Composite or porcelain veneers: which is better?
Porcelain veneers keep their colour, resist staining and usually last 10 to 15 years or more, but cost more and take two visits. Composite veneers cost less, are done in one visit and can be repaired, but stain and chip more easily and typically last about 5 to 7 years. The right choice depends on your teeth and budget.
How long do veneers last?
Porcelain veneers commonly last 10 to 15 years or longer, and composite veneers about 5 to 7 years, with good care. Biting nails, opening packets with the teeth, grinding at night and chewing very hard food shorten their life. A night guard is advised for people who grind their teeth.
Are veneers bad for your teeth? Is removing enamel permanent?
Veneers are safe when planned well, but preparing a tooth usually removes a thin layer of enamel, and enamel does not grow back, so that tooth will always need a veneer. For this reason, Pain-Off Dental Care recommends whitening, bonding or straightening first when they would give a good result with less tooth removed.
Veneers or bonding: which should I choose?
Choose composite bonding for one or two small chips or gaps, or when budget matters and a touch-up every few years is acceptable. Choose porcelain veneers for several teeth, deep stains or a result that keeps its colour for ten years or more. The dentist will show you both options on your own teeth.
Will veneers look fake?
Veneers look fake when they are made too white, too thick or all identical. Well-planned veneers match the shape and slightly translucent look of natural teeth to your face. At Pain-Off Dental Care, you see and approve a trial mock-up in your mouth before the final veneers are made.
Do veneers hurt?
Getting veneers is not painful. Preparing the teeth is done under local anaesthetic when needed, and composite veneers often need little or no preparation. Teeth may feel slightly sensitive to hot and cold for a few days after porcelain veneers are fitted, which settles on its own.
Can I have veneers if my teeth are crooked?
Veneers can disguise mildly crooked teeth. For more crowding, straightening the teeth first with braces or clear aligners is usually better, because it means far less enamel is removed and the result lasts longer. It takes longer, but it is the gentler route for the teeth.
Can veneers be whitened later?
No, veneers do not change colour with whitening, and neither do crowns or fillings. If you want your other teeth lighter, whiten them before the veneers are made, so the veneers can be matched to the new shade. Porcelain veneers resist staining well; composite ones may need polishing.
